Caroline Seikaly Ready-to-Wear “Isadora”, S/S 2012

Caroline Seikaly’s first couture collection for summer 2012 is entitled “Isadora”, a tribute to the famous dancer Isadora Duncan who revolutionized the practice of dance. Her great freedom of expression emphasized spontaneity, nature, and advocated a return of the model of ancient greek figures.

A free and daring woman, she will want to give its rightful place to beauty, harmony of the body, daring to exhibit herself almost in the nude, hidden by only a few veils.

It is therefore naturally that Caroline Seikaly creates variations of long flowing silhouettes, couture vestals that she drapes and subtly veils with solstiss lace or light silks.

Trompe l’oeil effects, delicate necklines and touches of precious Swarovski crystal embroidery accentuate, emphasize and adorn her aerial creations.
